About the role
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a National Project Officer to support its Country Office in Riyadh. The role will provide technical advisory support to Saudi Arabia’s development initiatives linked to Vision 2030 and assist in overall project management activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance to Saudi government departments in line with UNDP‑KSA partnership objectives.
- Support planning, monitoring and reporting of projects related to the three pillars of Vision 2030.
- Coordinate closely with UNDP, the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP) and senior management of the UNDP office.
- Assist in preparing project documents, proposals and progress reports.
- Facilitate communication between UNDP teams and national stakeholders.
Required profile
- Saudi national with experience in project coordination or assistance.
- Familiarity with UNDP processes and development programmes.
- Ability to work in close consultation with senior management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
