Neurology Consultant (Full-time)

About the role

The Neurology Consultant will provide specialist, evidence‑based neurological care to patients across Bupa CareConnect, delivering assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans in both virtual and on‑site settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, interpret EEG, MRI, CT and electrophysiological studies, and document findings in the EHR.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment and follow‑up plans for conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders and movement disorders.
• Provide clinical leadership within the Neurology service line, contributing to pathways, protocols and SOPs.
• Support tele‑neurology workflows, ensuring seamless virtual care delivery and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, clinical audits and compliance with CBAHI, JCI and other accreditation standards.
• Mentor junior physicians and allied health staff, and facilitate multidisciplinary case discussions.

Required profile

• Active Saudi Council for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licence in Neurology and a medical degree.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of neurological disorders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
• Expertise in tele‑neurology and virtual neurological care delivery.
• Interpretation of EEG, MRI, CT imaging and electrophysiological studies (NCS/EMG).
