Nurse Coordinator – Mecca, Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Nurse Coordinator provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the community setting, helping them achieve optimal health and quality of life despite chronic conditions. Working under physician orders and a defined plan of care, the role supports individuals and families through home‑based services and in‑patient support programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic follow‑up consultations and monitor vital signs during home care.
• Track blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels; provide education and support to patients and families.
• Administer medications, including injections, IVs, inhalations, oral, infusions, and rectal routes.
• Manage pain medication, monitor acute and chronic conditions, and provide pain‑control support.
• Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and general nursing care.
• Carry out cardiac assessments and monitor pain control.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Participate in pharmacovigilance training and report adverse events as required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years (24 months) of nursing experience, preferably in community or home‑care settings.
• Ability to assess mental status and provide education to caregivers.
• Willingness to attend training on pharmacovigilance and product safety.
• Knowledge of advanced foot care is a plus but not mandatory.
