Nursing Assistant – Full-time, On-site in Jeddah

About the role

The Nursing Assistant will work full-time on-site at Sidra Med’s facility in Jeddah, supporting registered nurses and physicians in delivering safe, compassionate patient care. This role involves direct interaction with patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a clean, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs, report any changes in patient condition.
• Assist patients with hygiene, feeding, toileting and mobility, including safe transfers.
• Prepare and maintain patient rooms, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and provide comfort measures.
• Document care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Support simple clinical procedures under supervision.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team and follow established protocols.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification as a Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or equivalent.
• Experience in basic patient care within a clinical or long-term care setting.
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling and prolonged standing.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic health records.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
