Occupational Therapist

About the role

The Occupational Therapist provides expert clinical leadership within outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation services. This role conducts comprehensive assessments, designs individualized intervention plans, and delivers advanced therapy to promote independence, safety, and community participation for clients with neurological, orthopedic, lymphedema, mental health, or pediatric needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed evaluations and develop client‑centered treatment plans.
• Deliver specialized OT interventions, including hand therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior therapists and students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, schools, employers, and community organizations to optimize functional outcomes.
• Lead quality‑improvement initiatives, clinical governance activities, and outcome measurement.
• Ensure compliance with evidence‑based practice, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties license (Senior Specialist level).
• Valid BLS certification.
• Minimum three years of clinical OT experience with demonstrated leadership or mentorship.
• Proficiency in written, spoken and read Arabic and English.
