About the role
The Operation Engineer will support offshore installation projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and technical requirements while coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards throughout project execution.
- Review project documentation, flag errors or omissions and propose improvements.
- Coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors and internal teams to monitor progress and anticipate schedule changes.
- Support vessel management in planning, execution and technical compliance of offshore works.
- Oversee preparation, load‑out and sea‑fastening activities, inspecting for deviations and managing corrective actions.
- Lead procurement, logistics and mobilization of installation aids, equipment and personnel.
- Manage subcontractor activities such as ROV services, NDT, diving and pre‑commissioning.
- Act as the project representative on board the installation vessel, compiling daily progress reports and supporting project close‑out.
