Operational Specialist

About the role

We are a fast‑growing tech startup seeking an Operational Specialist to act as the connective tissue between engineering, finance, and business development. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure that deadlines are met, blockers are cleared, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the central project tracker (Monday.com) across all functions.
• Check in daily with team leads and contributors to confirm task status and surface blockers early.
• Flag at‑risk deadlines with sufficient lead time for corrective action.
• Run weekly cross‑functional status updates and keep the CEO informed.
• Follow up relentlessly until items are truly closed.
• Identify recurring bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
• Maintain clear meeting notes, action items, and ownership records.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, executive assistance, or a similar cross‑functional role.
• Daily hands‑on experience with Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, or comparable tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Comfortable with persistent, professional follow‑ups.
• High attention to detail and low tolerance for missed deadlines.
• Experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is a plus.
