Optometrist (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

Osan® is seeking a licensed Optometrist to join its Dammam store. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and guiding customers on eye‑health and eyewear choices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complete eye exams, including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and ocular health evaluation.
• Diagnose visual conditions, prescribe glasses or contact lenses, and refer patients for medical care when needed.
• Educate customers on eye health, lens options, and appropriate eyewear.
• Collaborate with sales and customer‑service teams to ensure accurate lens fittings and a superior client experience.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and adhere to professional and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on optometry best practices and emerging eyewear technologies through continuous education.

Required profile

• Licensed Optometrist with a recognized degree and eligibility to practice in Saudi Arabia (Saudis only).
• Strong clinical skills in refraction, contact lens fitting, and ocular health assessment.
• Excellent patient communication and empathetic counseling abilities.
• Experience with optical equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborative mindset for working with retail, sales, and customer‑service teams.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
