Orthopedic Surgery Registrar

About the role

The Orthopedic Surgery Registrar will work within Nahdi Medical Co.’s orthopedic department in Abha, Saudi Arabia. The role involves diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses, managing patient care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, document findings, and design individualized care plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; review results.
• Prescribe medications and counsel patients on treatment options, diet, hygiene, and preventive health.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to Nahdi Care Clinics policies, CBAHI standards, and Saudi Health Council guidelines.
• Participate in clinical committees, quality‑improvement activities, and continuing medical education programs.
• Collaborate with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Comply with fire safety, attendance, and departmental standards.
• Perform specialty‑specific tasks according to clinical privileges.

Required profile

• Minimum two years (24 months) of experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Medical qualification recognized by the Saudi Health Council.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and adhere to regulatory standards.
