Passive ICT Infrastructure Lead – Airport Project

About the role

WSP is looking for a seasoned Passive ICT Infrastructure Lead to manage the passive systems for a major airport project in Saudi Arabia. The role will oversee the design, installation, testing and hand‑over of structured cabling, conduit pathways, containment trays and trunking, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and seamless integration with active ICT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the passive SAS scope through design review, shop drawing and submittal approval, installation supervision and commissioning.
• Develop and coordinate cable routing, containment and pathway plans across all disciplines.
• Conduct inspections, review method statements and ITPs, and verify progress against programme milestones.
• Manage technical queries (RFIs), site issues and resolution tracking to avoid delays.
• Support pre‑commissioning activities, FAT/SAT preparation and integrated testing.
• Prepare hand‑over documentation including as‑builts, test reports, O&M manuals and evidence packs.
• Report progress, risks and mitigation measures to the Project Director.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years’ experience delivering passive infrastructure for complex ICT, ELV or airport environments.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, containment (tray, trunking, conduit) and pathway engineering.
• Proven ability to work on multi‑stakeholder, mission‑critical projects and coordinate with active systems teams.
• Excellent quality‑control and compliance expertise in live construction settings.
