Pharmacovigilance Specialist

About the role

Join Sanofi’s Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PSPV) team in Riyadh to ensure that all local pharmacovigilance activities comply with global policies and Saudi regulations. You will play a key part in safeguarding the safe and appropriate use of Sanofi products on the Saudi market.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with global, regional and local PV regulations for all activities in Saudi Arabia.
• Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the local Pharmacovigilance System, ensuring audit readiness.
• Monitor incoming safety communications, manage ICSR reporting and liaise with Global PSPV and health authorities.
• Provide PV support for Patient Support Programs, Market Research, Managed Access Programs and digital media initiatives.
• Prepare and submit periodic safety reports, including PSRs and periodic reviews, on schedule.
• Participate in business continuity plans, emergency call processes and escalation protocols.
• Assist Global Safety Officers with local safety surveillance and risk‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety or a related regulatory/medical field.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi PV regulations, safety reporting requirements and risk‑management frameworks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with quality, regulatory and medical teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and capacity to manage time‑sensitive reporting.

Required skills
