Planning Engineer - Mechanical (PRIMAVERA) - Oil & Gas

About the role

ABIS is looking for a Planning Engineer specializing in Mechanical disciplines to support its projects in the Oil & Gas industry. The role is based on site in Al Jubail and involves preparing, monitoring and updating project schedules with PRIMAVERA software, coordinating across departments and helping to keep projects on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and update project schedules using PRIMAVERA software
• Interface with engineering, procurement and construction teams to develop detailed work plans
• Identify potential schedule risks or delays
• Assist in progress reporting and schedule analysis to support decision-making

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (for Shutdown / Turnaround)
• At least 5 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering design and construction processes
• Ability to analyze complex schedules and recommend mitigation actions
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco or similar oil & gas clients is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in PRIMAVERA P6 software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
