Planning Engineer – Real Estate Development

About the role

The Planning Engineer will support large‑scale real‑estate development projects by owning the day‑to‑day scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting cycle across multiple concurrent sites. You will work closely with site teams, project managers and client planners to keep schedules accurate, credible and actionable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, structure and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 covering civil, MEP, finishing, mobilization and handover activities.
• Build and validate the Work Breakdown Structure, activity logic, durations, dependencies and manage baseline revisions.
• Collect, verify and update site progress data weekly or bi‑weekly, preparing S‑curves, look‑ahead schedules, manpower/resource histograms and management dashboards.
• Perform schedule variance analysis, identify critical‑path shifts, analyse delay causes and recommend recovery actions.
• Track performance using Earned Value Management (SPI, CPI, forecast‑at‑completion) and coordinate with cost control for integrated cost‑schedule reporting.
• Participate in progress meetings, follow up on actions and ensure reporting aligns with client and consultant requirements.
• Support HR, quality, safety and business‑process improvement initiatives as defined by the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in project scheduling and construction planning.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and deliver accurate schedule data.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
