PMIS & Document Control Manager – Rail Projects

About the role

We are seeking a PMIS & Document Control Manager to lead the implementation, integration and operation of Project Management Information Systems and document control functions for major rail projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures best‑practice document management, data integrity and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure and optimise PMIS for multi‑disciplinary rail projects, overseeing data migration, system integration and user‑acceptance testing.
• Develop, enforce and continuously improve document control policies, procedures and workflows in line with company and client requirements.
• Manage controlled documents (drawings, reports, contracts, correspondence) ensuring accurate numbering, archiving, approval and distribution.
• Lead and mentor a team of document controllers and PMIS administrators, coordinating with engineering, construction, quality and compliance teams.
• Conduct regular audits, generate dashboard reports and KPI analytics for senior management, and liaise with clients, JV partners and subcontractors.
• Identify and deploy digitisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Management, Project Management or a related technical field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in document control and PMIS management on large infrastructure or rail projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex information‑flow processes.
