PMO Lead

About the role

We are seeking a PMO Lead to head the Project Manager team within the Business Solutions Department of webook.com, Saudi Arabia’s leading event ticketing and experience booking platform. The role blends people leadership with full PMO ownership, driving portfolio governance, delivery assurance and executive‑level reporting across high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage the BSD Project Manager team: set expectations, conduct 1:1s, performance reviews and support professional development.
• Allocate and balance project workload across the team, ensuring appropriate coverage and avoiding over‑extension.
• Coach PMs on methodology, stakeholder management, scope control and delivery discipline.
• Onboard new Project Managers to the BSD delivery model, including governance expectations and reporting cadence.
• Act as the first escalation point for PM‑level issues, unblocking delivery problems and mediating stakeholder conflicts.
• Own and enforce the end‑to‑end PMO governance model (stage‑gates, artifacts, approval workflows, escalation paths).
• Run delivery assurance reviews, health checks and compliance audits, driving corrective actions when needed.
• Chair the Change Control Board, handling intake, impact assessment, approvals and communication.
• Maintain and continuously optimise the BSD PMO framework, templates and toolkits.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a team of project managers in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of PMO governance frameworks, stage‑gate processes and change control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop PMs in methodology and stakeholder management.
• Track record of ensuring projects meet or exceed budget and schedule targets.
• Excellent problem‑solving, escalation handling and senior‑level decision‑making skills.
