Power BI Developer

About the role

KBR is hiring a Power BI Developer in Riyadh for a major infrastructure programme supporting a mixed-use development in Riyadh. Reporting to the Senior Manager Information Management / PMO Digital Lead, the developer designs, develops, implements and maintains business intelligence solutions, dashboards and analytics platforms that support programme performance monitoring and executive decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and scorecards for programme and project stakeholders.
• Gather and analyse reporting requirements from PMO, project controls, commercial, risk and programme management teams.
• Develop data models, data transformation processes and automated reporting using Power BI, Power Query and DAX.
• Integrate data from project controls, scheduling, cost management, risk management and document management systems.
• Create KPI dashboards and executive reporting packs, and collaborate with PMIS and digital teams on data architecture.
• Support data validation, quality assurance and testing, and troubleshoot report performance issues.
• Provide user training and technical support, prepare technical documentation and support digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics or enterprise information management.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification required, or equivalent.
• Experience in major infrastructure, construction, PMO or programme management environments.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, DAX and Power Query.
• Data modelling and integration with SQL Server, Oracle databases and cloud platforms.
• KPI development, automated reporting and data governance.
• Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, cost, risk and commercial data structures is highly desirable.
