Principal Architect / General Manager – Architecture, Design & Fit-Out

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect / General Manager to lead operations, design excellence, and business growth for our Architecture, Design, Multimedia & Signage company. The role oversees a portfolio of F&B, retail, restaurant, café, and fit‑out projects, driving expansion into external client work across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall company operations, strategy, and business performance.
• Oversee architecture, interior design, fit‑out, signage and related project activities.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of F&B, restaurant, café, retail and commercial projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality outcomes.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of architects, designers, project managers, engineers and support staff.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings, technical documents and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute business strategies to acquire new external clients and grow the third‑party portfolio.
• Lead client presentations, proposals, commercial negotiations and contract development.
• Monitor project profitability, budgets, resources and overall business performance.
• Establish efficient project management, design, quality and operational processes while ensuring compliance with Saudi building regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 15+ years of professional architectural experience with significant leadership exposure.
• Minimum 7 years in a senior management or general manager position.
• Extensive experience in F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality, commercial and fit‑out projects.
• Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of architecture, interior design, construction, fit‑out and project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability in business development and client acquisition.
