Principal Architect & General Manager – Architecture, Design & Fit‑Out

About the role

Burjline Builders seeks an experienced Principal Architect / General Manager to steer the company’s architecture, design, multimedia and signage divisions. You will lead operations, drive design excellence, and expand the business beyond internal group projects into a broader third‑party client portfolio across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute overall strategy, operations and business performance.
• Oversee architecture, interior design, fit‑out, signage and related project activities.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of F&B, restaurant, café, retail and commercial projects, ensuring time, budget and quality targets.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, designers, project managers and engineers.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings and technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to acquire external clients.
• Negotiate proposals, contracts and commercial terms.
• Monitor project profitability, budgets and resources.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building regulations and industry standards.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and networking activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 15+ years of professional architectural experience with strong leadership exposure.
• Minimum 7 years in a senior management or general‑manager role.
• Extensive experience in F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality, commercial and fit‑out projects.
• Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
