About the role
Under general supervision, the Principal Designer – Pipeline independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes critical engineering decisions, and represents KBR Engineering Inc at conferences and negotiations with key stakeholders. The role provides technical guidance to designers and less‑experienced engineers while being consulted extensively for scientific interpretation and advice.
Key responsibilities
- Apply advanced engineering techniques to pipeline projects.
- Make engineering decisions and resolve technical problems.
- Represent the organization in conferences and negotiations with external engineers and officials.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and junior engineers.
- Manage a measurable asset, including assigned staff and budget.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience (average 10+ years).
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- High reliance on scientific interpretation and advisory capabilities.
Required skills
- Pipeline engineering.
- Engineering design techniques.
