Procurement Specialist – Saudi Market

About the role

Hanwha Power Arabia is seeking a Procurement Specialist to strengthen its regional supply chain and project procurement activities in the Kingdom. The role focuses on the Saudi market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and pre‑qualify local and international vendors, maintaining the Approved Vendor List.
• Ensure all procurement actions comply with Saudi commercial law, ZATCA tax/customs rules, SASO standards and IKTVA requirements.
• Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance and coordinate local logistics with freight forwarders.
• Draft, review and negotiate vendor contracts, terms and conditions to mitigate commercial risk.
• Issue RFQs, analyse commercial bids and negotiate optimal pricing and payment terms.
• Track material delivery schedules and expedite shipments to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Saudi market, vendor landscape and local procurement regulations.
• Experience handling import/export processes and customs clearance.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills for bid evaluation and cost optimisation.
