Product Engineer II – QA

About the role

Tamara is looking for a Product Engineer II – QA to ensure the quality of its fintech products and services. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver reliable, high‑performing mobile, web, and backend applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and design documents and provide timely feedback.
• Perform manual and automated testing of Android, iOS, web, and backend services.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases and execute regression testing.
• Design, develop and run automation tests using internal frameworks.
• Identify root causes of defects, document them and track bug resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Agile practices.
• Adapt to new testing tools and methodologies as needed.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Test Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks: Detox, Selenium, TestNG, Appium.
• Manual and automation testing of APIs, end‑to‑end flows, and mobile applications.
• Programming languages: JavaScript, Java.
• Database: MySQL and scripting.
• Familiarity with DevOps, AWS (plus), CI/CD tools and continuous integration concepts.
