Program Senior Director – Strategy Management

About the role

The Program Senior Director will lead the design and execution of strategic programs that support the division’s objectives in Riyadh. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines strategic planning, risk governance, and talent development to drive high‑performance outcomes across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with division goals.
• Provide workforce forecasts and support the division’s workforce planning.
• Maintain and improve operating frameworks, work processes, and performance standards.
• Assist with annual budgeting, track expenditures, and ensure budget compliance.
• Offer strategic advisory support to SAB entities and subsidiaries.
• Build a talent pipeline for key roles and mentor high‑potential staff.
• Monitor KPIs for direct reports and oversee performance‑management processes.
• Coordinate team activities to align with business plans, policies, and procedures.
• Govern risk‑related policies (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, audit) and ensure internal‑control compliance.
• Lead high‑visibility strategic programs, defining scope, budget, resources, and governance structures.
• Escalate critical issues to the Project Sponsor and Head of E‑PMO.
• Prepare and review program reporting, drive delivery against timelines, and oversee IT execution phases (testing, pilot, launch).
• Manage non‑IT aspects such as change‑management, communications, and training.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in program, strategy, or portfolio management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive governance and risk‑management initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated talent‑development skills, including mentoring and succession planning.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication capabilities.
