Project Controller – Finance

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Finance Team as a Project Controller – Finance. You will support the business by managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and compliance with budgetary constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage project finances within approved budgets alongside the Project Manager.
• Proactively handle financial and accounting matters, improving controls and reporting.
• Provide consistent and accurate reporting of revenue, costs, progress, schedules, and contingencies.
• Apply basic engineering, drilling, supply‑chain, HR, and P&L concepts to estimate costs and revenues.
• Develop strong relationships with project team members and lead financial discussions.
• Assist in project closure, preparing financial documents for after‑action reviews.
• Identify and act on unfavorable variances, mitigate risks, and enhance profitability and cash flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in FP&A or finance management.
• Previous experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
• Fluency in English with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
