Project Controls Data Analyst

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Project Controls Data Analyst to integrate engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction and start‑up data for small projects or sub‑tasks of larger initiatives. The role supports technical excellence across disciplines and may require relocation to the project site during construction and start‑up phases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and automate recurring project‑controls reports.
• Produce executive‑level status reports, develop standardized KPIs and support earned‑value‑management (EVM) analysis.
• Analyze progress trends, provide forecasting support and transform complex datasets into actionable insights for project leadership.
• Develop automated data extraction, transformation and reporting solutions using Python and SQL to improve reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics or business intelligence, preferably on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to create and manage Power BI dashboards and deliver project performance reporting.
