Project Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

ABSP Co., a subsidiary of Albawani Holding, is seeking a Project Engineer to support civil and structural works on construction projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves planning, supervising, executing, and documenting site activities in line with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities before commencing site work.
• Assist in supervising excavation, earthworks, concrete, structural, masonry, and finishing activities.
• Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors, subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC personnel, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare daily progress reports, quantity take‑offs, material requests, and related technical documentation.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, materials, and site progress, reporting any deviations promptly.
• Support inspection requests, technical queries, material approvals, and coordination with consultants and client representatives.
• Help prepare as‑built drawings, snag lists, handover records, and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a Saudi university.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of professional experience.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, civil engineering principles, and site execution.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code, ACI, ASTM, or similar standards is advantageous.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and good teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work on project sites throughout Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Exposure to Civil 3D or Revit is a plus.
