Project Manager – 33/13.8kV Secondary Substations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, procurement and construction of 33/13.8kV secondary substation buildings in Saudi Arabia. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project from concept design through detailed design, construction, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Coordinate design development in line with SEC standards and relevant international codes.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants and authorities.
• Oversee procurement activities, manage contractors and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery.
• Control project budget, schedule and resources to achieve on‑time, on‑budget completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing HV/MV substation projects (13.8kV, 33kV or higher).
• Proven experience on projects in Saudi Arabia with strong knowledge of SEC standards and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
