Project Manager – Public Realm & Streetscape

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a flagship public‑realm development in Diriyah. You will oversee the full lifecycle of parks, open spaces, and streetscape packages, ensuring they are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of assigned public‑realm and streetscape packages from mobilization through handover.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality in line with Parsons’ project management procedures.
• Supervise site‑based construction teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Review contractor work programs, method statements, procurement schedules, and HSE plans.
• Coordinate interfaces between parks, utilities, streetscapes, and adjacent developments.
• Chair progress, technical, and coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, client representatives, and authorities.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on progress, risk, issues, and KPIs.
• Lead review of RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups, and technical queries.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives while maintaining design intent and long‑term performance.
• Drive rigorous HSE implementation and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Assist contract administration, including variations, claims, and payment applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role on large‑scale public‑realm, infrastructure, or mixed‑use urban projects.
• Proven experience in site‑based construction supervision of parks, streetscapes, or public open‑space projects.
• Strong understanding of public‑realm design principles, landscape works, urban infrastructure, utilities coordination, and streetscape construction.
