QA Lead Engineer

CoorB builds innovative solutions focused on process automation, user experience and data analytics, helping clients achieve operational excellence in the finance industry. The QA Lead Engineer defines and executes the overall quality assurance strategy across multiple products and platforms, combining hands-on automation expertise with leadership in process improvement, team management and quality governance. The role partners with Engineering, Product and DevOps teams to drive quality initiatives, lead automation adoption and foster a culture of continuous testing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance and release validation.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile and backend systems.
• Lead, mentor and coach QA engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback and career support.
• Work with cross-functional teams so product requirements are testable and measurable.
• Integrate automated testing pipelines into CI/CD to enable continuous delivery and reduce regression risks.
• Drive performance, load and security testing strategies.
• Evaluate and standardize automation tools and best practices across projects.
• Champion data-driven testing and track product quality through KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead defect triage meetings, coordinate release testing and ensure timely defect resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 6-10 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
• Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-team collaboration.

Required skills

• Hands-on automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
• At least one programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
• CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• API and backend testing (Postman, RestAssured).
• Performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6).
• Test management and bug tracking (Jira, TestRail).
