QHSE Officer – Facilities Management

About the role

The QHSE Officer will support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment standards across facilities management operations. The role ensures site compliance, conducts inspections, supports audits and promotes a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular QHSE inspections, site walks, audits and compliance assessments across facilities management project sites.
• Monitor implementation of HSE policies, permits, risk assessments and method statements, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are closed.
• Support investigations of incidents, accidents, near‑misses and non‑conformities and prepare clear reports.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, training records and compliance tracking systems.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness campaigns and site‑level QHSE training sessions.
• Coordinate with operations teams, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives on all QHSE matters.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company standards and client requirements, including PPE, work‑at‑height, electrical safety, waste management and emergency preparedness.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in QHSE/HSE roles, preferably within facilities management, integrated facilities management or operations & maintenance environments.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or ISO 45001/ISO 9001/ISO 14001 are preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site across Saudi Arabia and travel to project locations as required.
