Quality Assurance Engineer – Agile Testing

About the role

Tamkeen Technologies is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest level of quality across its software products. You will work within cross‑functional Agile teams, designing test strategies, creating test artifacts, and driving continuous improvement of testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrum/Kanban teams to deliver high‑quality features from requirements to production.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
• Execute system, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Define, implement, and evolve quality standards and control processes.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and results to product owners and stakeholders.
• Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot defects; support customers in reproducing issues.
• Mentor junior QA staff and share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• ISTQB certification is required.

Required skills

• Cypress (or similar test‑automation tool).
• Test automation concepts and implementation.
• Different test types (system, integration, regression, performance).
• Agile principles and Scrum/Kanban practices.
