Quality Inspector – Road Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to carry out on‑site inspections of road construction works, ensuring that all materials and workmanship comply with project specifications, codes and standards. The role involves close collaboration with contractors, client and consultant representatives to resolve non‑conformances and maintain high quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect earthworks, subgrade, granular sub‑base (GSB), sub‑base and asphalt layers on road projects.
• Verify that materials used match approved specifications and test results.
• Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, checklists and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors to close NCRs and improve workmanship.
• Participate in joint inspections with client and consultant representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and project quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years of quality control experience on road/highway projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methods and relevant standards.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
