Real Estate Investment Senior Director

About the role

The Real Estate Investment Senior Director will lead AIC’s investment function, shaping portfolio strategy and overseeing the full investment lifecycle. This senior position reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal role in driving high‑impact transactions and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement real‑estate investment strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor portfolio activity, performance, and evolution; recommend strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate asset monetization and investment opportunities, including joint‑venture and fund formation models.
• Prepare investment screening materials, memos, and presentations for committees and senior leadership.
• Review and validate financial forecasts, business plans, and feasibility studies.
• Lead deal structuring and negotiations to meet financial, legal, and strategic requirements.
• Identify and assess joint‑venture, development, and partnership opportunities.
• Manage due‑diligence processes across financial, legal, and operational areas.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Development, and other cross‑functional teams for risk mitigation and execution.
• Support portfolio optimization, repositioning, and exit strategies.
• Represent the team in investment committees and governance forums.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Real Estate Investment team.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
• Significant local real‑estate investment experience in a reputable investment company, family office, fund manager, or specialized advisory firm.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving collaborative business outcomes.
