Recreation Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Recreation Assistant Manager to support the strategic and daily operations of the Recreation Department, focusing on the Kids Club and Youth Club. The role involves overseeing activity programming, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering memorable experiences for families in line with FAENA’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Recreation Manager in overall leadership and operational management of the department.
• Supervise Kids Club and Youth Club teams to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate experiences.
• Ensure all registration, consent, and medical forms are accurately completed and securely stored.
• Monitor club operations to maintain guest safety, proactively preventing and responding to incidents.
• Maintain pristine, inspiring environments that reflect FAENA luxury standards, including regular sanitisation and inspection of equipment.
• Oversee sign‑in and sign‑out procedures to guarantee the security of all children at all times.
• Guide attendants on proper organization, storage, and care of toys and equipment, and assign housekeeping duties within club spaces.
• Document and promptly escalate incidents, guest concerns, and safety hazards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recreation, Kids Club, or youth programming within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Background in Early Childhood Education, Recreation, or Luxury Hospitality preferred.
• High School or College degree in Education, Hospitality, Management, Tourism or related fields.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR/AED, Emergency First Aid at Work and Advanced First Aid at Work.
• Strong leadership, supervisory capabilities and a service‑driven mindset.
