Regional Treasury CFO / Country Treasurer (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar)

About the role

The position is a senior leadership role within the Treasury division, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will act as CFO for the regional Treasury function covering Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, reporting to senior bank executives and working closely with country management and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Chair the Asset & Liability Committee for DB Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar, setting agendas and ensuring alignment with business strategy, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee capital, liquidity and funding management through the Funding Planning process and structural term asset‑liability profiling.
• Manage the regulatory cash and central funding pool, ensuring sufficient liquidity and cost‑effective funding across the region.
• Provide strategic guidance on treasury products, financial markets and regulatory compliance to senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal partners across the DB Group and external banking regulators.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in treasury, capital and liquidity management within a banking environment.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior business heads and regulators.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Self‑motivated, independent contributor with a track record of delivering results in a regional context.
