About the role

The Registered Nurse delivers high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to patients in a clinical setting. Working closely with physicians and the healthcare team, the nurse ensures optimal patient outcomes through thorough assessment, care planning, and continuous monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and infection monitoring.
• Assist physicians during procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Respond to medical emergencies and follow established emergency protocols.
• Maintain infection‑control standards and participate in surveillance reporting.
• Oversee junior staff and nursing students, offering guidance and support.
