Registrar - Pediatrics

About the role

The Registrar in Pediatrics provides high‑quality, remote healthcare services to children, using telehealth technology to assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of pediatric conditions. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Registrar develops individualized treatment plans, ensures clinical safety, and contributes to continuous quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments, collect detailed histories and perform virtual physical examinations.
• Interpret laboratory and imaging results, formulate accurate diagnoses and document findings.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications and therapies in line with pediatric guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress through follow‑up consultations and adjust care plans as needed.
• Uphold clinical quality standards, adhere to protocols, and participate in audits and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead case discussions and coordinate specialist referrals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, CME activities and stay current with evolving clinical guidelines.
• Promote patient safety and satisfaction by implementing safety protocols and responding to patient feedback.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency training in pediatrics.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and virtual examination tools.
• Ability to interpret pediatric laboratory and imaging results.
• Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology and treatment guidelines.
