Regulatory Compliance Manager

About the role

This position offers an experienced regulatory and compliance professional the chance to shape and maintain strong regulatory governance within the telecommunications industry. You will ensure that the company’s products, services and operations stay aligned with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor applicable laws, regulations, decisions, circulars and instructions issued by relevant authorities such as the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), National Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) and National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).
• Analyze new and amended regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the business, products and services.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable procedures for internal departments.
• Manage and monitor licenses, approvals, permits, registrations and other regulatory authorisations.
• Handle official correspondence with regulatory authorities and follow up on commitments and obligations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare accurate data, reports and submissions required by regulators.
• Represent the company in regulatory meetings, workshops and discussions within delegated authority.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the regulatory compliance framework.
• Develop, review and update compliance policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain the Regulatory Obligations Register, documenting requirements, responsible departments, deadlines and compliance status.
• Monitor the company’s compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies, conducting periodic reviews and assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a regulatory or compliance professional, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret regulatory texts and assess business impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple regulatory licences and obligations simultaneously.
