Remote Customer Service & Admin Representative

About the role

We are seeking a versatile, detail‑oriented Remote Customer Service & Admin Representative. In this hybrid position you will be the first voice customers hear for support while also keeping internal records, schedules, and processes running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Process orders, returns, refunds, and account changes.
• Maintain accurate interaction logs in the CRM system.
• Manage digital files, schedule meetings, and coordinate calendar events.
• Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Perform data entry, track expenses, process invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping.
• Support onboarding of new employees or clients and assist various departments with ad‑hoc tasks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline both customer service and administrative workflows.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a remote setting.
• Professional, patient, and solution‑oriented demeanor.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Google Workspace.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Freshdesk.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools like Asana or Trello.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or invoicing software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Typing speed of 45+ words per minute.
