Reservations Agent

About the role

Join a leading hospitality brand as a Reservations Agent, handling guest booking requests for a luxury resort in AMAALA, Saudi Arabia. You will be the first point of contact for guests seeking reservations, changes, or cancellations, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and recommend appropriate room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
• Document special requests, answer questions about property facilities, and apply sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Enter accurate data into the reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale bookings.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and adhere to all company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving items up to 10 lb and support other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
