Restaurant Manager – Room Service

About the role

This entry‑level management position oversees the daily operations of Room Service, ensuring timely and high‑quality food and beverage delivery to guestrooms and hospitality suites. The role balances guest satisfaction, employee performance, and budgetary targets while supporting other outlets as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all day‑to‑day Room Service activities, including staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Enforce property policies and Room Service standards consistently across the team.
• Communicate operational issues to staff, follow up on resolutions, and maintain compliance with procedures.
• Monitor staffing levels to meet guest service expectations, operational needs, and financial objectives.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate team members, setting performance standards and recognizing achievements.
• Collaborate with other food‑and‑beverage outlets to provide seamless service when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in food & beverage, culinary, or related fields, OR
• 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
