Rigger Technical Teacher – Oil & Gas Training (Male, Native English)

About the role

We are seeking a male native‑English speaker to join a leading Saudi Arabian polytechnic institute as a Rigger Technical Teacher. The role involves delivering comprehensive rigging training to male trainees preparing for careers in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical lessons covering all aspects of oil‑and‑gas rigging.
• Develop and maintain course materials, procedures, and assessment tools.
• Ensure workshop and laboratory equipment is adequate and safe for trainee use.
• Design written and performance tests aligned with external verifier standards.
• Assess trainee portfolios and provide feedback to meet awarding organization criteria.

Required profile

• Male native English speaker.
• Minimum 3 years full‑time teaching experience in a vocational technical trade school or polytechnic.
• Minimum 5 years full‑time rigging experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Immediate availability for a 1‑year 5‑month fixed‑term contract in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
