Risk & Controls Associate (Consultant)

About the role

This position supports a confidential financial institution in Riyadh, focusing on risk and control activities across the organization. You will work closely with risk, compliance, internal audit and business teams to strengthen the control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Risk & Control Self‑Assessments (RCSA) for business and support functions.
• Identify risks, document controls, assess design, and track control gaps.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and develop risk‑control matrices, process maps and documentation.
• Execute control testing, record evidence and report observations.
• Maintain risk registers, issue logs, remediation trackers and action plans.
• Follow up with stakeholders on open findings and remediation progress.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations on key risks and control issues.
• Coordinate updates to policies, procedures, SOPs, checklists and governance documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk, Economics or related field.
• 1–4 years experience in risk management, internal controls, internal audit, external audit, risk advisory, GRC or compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
