Road Engineer – Roads and Highway

About the role

The Road Engineer will lead and supervise road construction activities, ensuring that all works meet technical specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality road infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily road construction works including excavation, subgrade, GSB, sub‑base and asphalt laying.
• Review construction drawings and verify correct implementation on site.
• Coordinate activities with surveying, QA/QC and safety teams.
• Monitor material quality, equipment usage and production rates.
• Report daily progress and highlight any technical issues.
• Assist with traffic management and temporary diversions.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, ASTM and project‑specific standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience supervising road construction projects.
• Strong understanding of pavement materials, grading and compaction standards.
• Familiarity with surveying techniques and drainage installation.
