Roads Inspector – Roads & Bridges

About the role

The Roads Inspector ensures that every phase of road and bridge construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, materials, and safety procedures. You will work on‑site in Saudi Arabia, overseeing a range of civil works and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect excavation, grading, subgrade, GSB, sub‑base, basecourse, and asphalt layers.
• Verify material specifications and test results for soil, aggregates, and asphalt.
• Check drainage systems, kerbs, duct banks, utility crossings, and manholes.
• Monitor traffic‑management setups and detours to protect road users.
• Prepare inspection reports, non‑conformance reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in joint inspections with contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Ensure implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC requirements.
• Validate workmanship quality and safety in active road zones.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in road inspection.
• Strong understanding of road construction materials and specifications.
• Excellent technical observation and documentation abilities.
