Safety Engineer – Infrastructure Projects (Saudi National)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer (HSE) to join our supervision consultancy team on a large‑scale infrastructure development located about 100 km north of Jeddah. The role focuses on ensuring that all construction activities meet health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce HSE regulations on site and ensure contractor compliance with project safety plans.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and toolbox talks.
• Review contractor HSE submissions, risk assessments, method statements and safety procedures.
• Oversee safety compliance for road networks and multi‑utility works such as water, gas, power, drainage, telecom and landscaping.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records and safety documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience on infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven experience with road and multi‑utility projects.
• Background in engineering consultancy supervision.
