Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for the hotel by managing an assigned portfolio of accounts, prospecting new business, and ensuring optimal market share. Based in Al Khobar, the role works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve the hotel’s revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts within an assigned geographic area, maximizing revenue and meeting personal targets.
• Prospect and acquire new accounts across designated markets, including European segments.
• Conduct site inspections, follow corporate SOPs, and maintain detailed knowledge of competitors and hotel services.
• Negotiate contracts, ensuring SMART contracting for optimal yield during rate negotiations.
• Attend trade shows, sales blitzes, and workshops to promote the hotel.
• Assist in creating the annual sales action plan and budget forecasts.
• Execute sales actions within budget, document activities in SFA (S&C), and keep the OPERA contact database up‑to‑date.
• Cross‑sell other Kempinski properties and participate in the Duty Manager rota.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar hospitality environment.
• Strong account management and prospecting abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and hotel product offering.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet revenue targets, and adhere to corporate policies.

Required skills

• SFA (Sales Force Automation) system proficiency.
• OPERA contact database management.
