Scaffolding Section Head

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Section Head to lead and manage scaffolding operations across multiple construction projects. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant planning, erection, inspection, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding systems while supporting overall project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all scaffolding activities on assigned projects.
• Manage scaffolding supervisors, inspectors, and site teams.
• Review and approve scaffolding designs, load assessments, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Planning, and HSE teams.
• Monitor scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling.
• Manage resources, materials, manpower planning, and equipment utilization.
• Conduct site audits and inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Review subcontractor performance and enforce approved standards.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and resource forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Construction Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in scaffolding operations within construction, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, temporary works and industry safety standards.
• Professional scaffolding certifications (CISRS, OSHA or equivalent) are an advantage.
