Senior Accountant

About the role

Erga Lebanon is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its architecture and engineering consultancy team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting operations, tax compliance, and supporting the finance function with accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily accounting entries and process invoices.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
• Prepare and file tax declarations, including Income Tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Undertake any additional accounting tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality results.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good understanding of KSA tax laws and regulations.
