Senior Analyst Credit Review

About the role

The Senior Analyst Credit Review is responsible for evaluating credit proposals to ensure they comply with the bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements. This role supports the Credit Committee by preparing detailed credit notes and contributes to the continuous improvement of credit risk frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Review credit proposals for alignment with defined credit policies and regulatory standards.
• Apply established procedures to assess the validity of credit requests and prepare notes for the Credit Committee.
• Provide inputs for enhancements to credit risk policies, regulatory documents, and risk models.
• Support bank employees on credit risk review matters and answer related queries.
• Prepare accurate and timely periodic management and progress reports for leadership and the Credit Committee.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify inefficiencies in routine activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or risk assessment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Ability to follow clearly articulated guidance and work within defined processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
