Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will support the Resident Engineer in managing, coordinating and reviewing architectural technical documents from project initiation through to closure. The role ensures design intent is maintained, deadlines and budgets are met, and quality and contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Key responsibilities

• Approve minutes of meetings prepared by the Contract Administrator and provide comments.
• Assist in resolving contractor issues such as time extensions, change orders and variations, and advise the Resident Engineer.
• Attend progress, coordination and client meetings, as well as off‑site inspections and material/sample reviews.
• Lead supervision of site architects, ensuring adherence to the PACE Supervision Manual and health‑safety policies.
• Coordinate contract documents with architects and engineers, verify material storage, and manage on‑site quality control.
• Lead design and technical coordination with finishes, structure, MEP and landscape disciplines.
• Oversee snagging after substantial completion and prepare defect lists for contractor rectification.
• Review and assess contractor/sub‑contractor pre‑qualifications, shop drawings, mock‑ups and schedule items.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar senior architectural role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Advanced BIM Revit certification and membership in a relevant engineering society where applicable.

Required skills

• Advanced project coordination capabilities.
• Proficiency with major CAD applications (CADD).
• Strong BIM Revit expertise.
